SpaceX aims at traveling into space by the end of 2018, initially sending two tourists to Moon
The desire to explore and the instinct of curiosity has led human race to point of advancement where we are now. The concept of space travel is not new, as NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) did their first launch in July 1950 name Fla: the Bumper 2 from Cape Canaveral. The primary focus of this launch was to research about the upper atmosphere and testing out rocket systems.
Since then, discoveries are emerging to the face of humanity keeping the promise that there are planets other than earth where one can actually LIVE. A much recent development was to find 7 earth sized planets.
Up till now as we may call it a luxury only for the scientist and astronauts to travel and explore new universes but with the concept of commercial flight to space, the door are opened for every one who can afford it. Companies like Space Exploration Technologies (SpaceX), Blue Origin, Orbital Sciences, Bigelow Aerospace, Virgin Galactic are the main commercial players offering their customers space travel.
Recently SpaceX has announced that it will send two tourists to moon bythe end of 2018. If SpaceX is able to do that it would be first commercial travel, but the main concern here is safety, as we already know there is awful lot of risk involved, from start to finish.
Two tourist will make a loop around the Moon, skimming the lunar surface going about 300,000-400,000 miles above from the earth – and NASA will provide help (training and technical support). SpaceX flight would be an extra ordinary achievement for them if happened successful, as space experts are concerned about the time frame given by SpaceX.
