Google’s AlphaGo was on the way to white wash Go champion Lee Se-dol, when it was playing 3-0. But yes, there was a twist in the challenge, when 33 years old Lee, hit back, to avoid a straight win 4-0 to Google’s  AI DeepMind.

Implications:

Go, the ancient Chinese board game long considered impossible for computers to play at a world-class level, because it needs human brain capabilities to analyse and gut feeling to execute a certain move in different ways. At machine level if we can mimic the human brain it wold be a huge success building more efficient and intelligent technologies. But Lee’s win makes us thing again to program the machine.
